STATEMENT ON FREEDOM OF CONTRACTING


EANA strongly supports the freedom of contracting among social partners within the European health care systems. For optimal patient care, with continuity, it is essential that the physician (and other health care professionals) holds the contracts as individuals.

1. Freedom of choice by the patient of the physicians.

2. Freedom of contracting. The contract should be held by the physician an individuals.

3. Professional autonomy.

4. Clinical independence based on knowledge and experience

The application of the above criteria are in the best interest of our patients healthcare.
