With great sadness and sorrow, we have lost our beloved and esteemed friend and colleague Dr. Jörg Pruckner, longtime president of EANA. He has shaped an entire epoch of EANA with his personal, loving and familiar style, and has introduced and enforced crucial work for free practice in Austria and throughout Europe. Personally, we have learned decisive and excellent knowledge from and with him about free practice of medicine in Europe. We are grateful to him and shall continue his concerns. He died at age 69, on Tuesday November the 26.th 2019 in Graz, Austria. We express our sincere condolences to the bereaved.
